Maintenance effort in general is low, thanks to the battery lifetime of approx. 7 years (150 actuations a day). Cleaning mode is activated by covering the bottom of the sensor with a thumb, which temporarily locks the water flow. Combined with the GROHE Remote Control (36407001), monitoring options and additional settings are available, including automatic hygiene flushing and thermal disinfection.
